A chemistry teacher in Sikar reportedly compared a viral “guess paper” with the actual exam paper and found a large number of exact matches. This information was shared with authorities, triggering a wider investigation.

The probe, now being handled by the Central Bureau of Investigation, has led to arrests and detentions across Rajasthan, Haryana, and Maharashtra. Investigators are examining whether insiders and public servants were involved, as well as tracing the money trail.

Exam Cancellation and Re-NEET

The National Testing Agency cancelled NEET-UG 2026 after allegations of widespread compromise. Lakhs of students are awaiting the announcement of a fresh examination date.
