Scholarships worth over INR 60 million are available to Indian students at Deakin University.

Deakin University, a global leader in education (ranked in the top 1% worldwide), is offering a life-changing opportunity for Indian students. Their Vice-Chancellor’s Meritorious Scholarship Program (VSMSP) 2024 provides ten full-tuition scholarships, valued at over INR 6 million each, for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies across any field. Additionally, one scholarship is specifically dedicated to sports programs.

Professor Iain Martin, Deakin’s Vice Chancellor, emphasizes the university’s commitment to India. This scholarship program, part of their “Changing Lives” initiative, aims to empower Indian students to receive a world-class education and become future leaders who contribute to their communities.

More than just tuition coverage, scholarship recipients will also gain valuable industry connections and participate in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program (VCPEP). This program provides networking opportunities and connects students with industry leaders.

Sushmitha Rajakishore Singh, a past scholarship recipient, shares how the program has had a transformative impact on her life, reflecting Deakin’s vision.

To be considered, students will be evaluated based on their academic performance, extracurricular activities, commitment to social good, and English proficiency. The selection process is managed by the Deakin South Asia office in New Delhi.

Building Bridges with India

Ravneet Pawha, a Deakin University leader, highlights the program’s role in strengthening the university’s relationship with India. He emphasizes how the VSMSP unlocks opportunities for high-achieving Indian students.

A Legacy of Opportunity
