Health Dept Organizes TB Screening & Anti-Tobacco Awareness Camp at Haji Public School, Breswana

TB Screening Camp at Haji Public School, Breswana

The Health Department Doda conducted a TB screening and health check-up camp at Haji Public School under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP). Over 100 students and staff participated, and 50 samples were collected for TB testing. The camp was conducted by Dr. Touseef Aslam Wani and NHM staff.

Anti-Tobacco Awareness Session

As part of the initiative, an awareness session under the Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign 3.0 educated attendees about the dangers of tobacco use and preventive measures for TB. Students and staff also took a pledge to maintain a tobacco-free environment in the school.

Appreciation & Participation

School Director Saba Haji thanked the Health Department for organizing the outreach initiative. Officials from the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office Doda were also present. The program was well-received by students and staff alike.
