Launching the 98th AIU national vice chancellor conference is Telangana Governor Radha Krishnan.
On April 15, 2024, at Leonia Resorts in Hyderabad, Telangana Governor C P Radha Krishnan gave the 98th AIU National Conference of Vice Chancellors its formal opening. During his keynote speech, Radha Krishnan gave the students advice on how to prepare themselves to compete against the world’s greatest talent and win.
He had earlier expressed his gratitude to the ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education University and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for organizing the conference, noting that AIU is producing information that will drive the higher education sector. He also praised AIU’s enduring dedication to enhancing the vibrancy and inclusivity of India’s higher education system. He went on to say that one such step toward reaching that goal is the launch of the Bharat Knowledge System (BKS). He appealed to all the universities to create and groom enthusiastic and talented youngsters to realise the dream of Viksit Bharat envisioned by the prime minister Narendra Modi. The governor also hoped that our nation will emerge as the world leader in economy by 2047.
Professor G D Sharma, President of AIU, Professor (Dr.) Pankaj Mittal, Vice President of AIU, Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak, and Chairman of the AICTE, Professor TG Sitaram, provided a briefing on the subjects and format of the conference at this time. In the name of ICFAI, Prof. L S Ganesh, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, greeted all of the dignitaries at the conference. On this occasion, a book on sustainable goals with contributions from 78 authors was released.
The three-day conference on Higher Education @ 2047 will take place from April 15–17, 2024, under the auspices of ICFAI. It is anticipated that more than 500 vice chancellors representing a range of central, state, and recognized universities would participate in the online and in-person conference to exchange perspectives on higher education.
