2023–24: National Young Authors' Fair: Honoring originality & Literary Brilliance
The top young writers and schools in India were recognized at the biennial National Young Authors’ Fair (NYAF) Awards and Exhibition ceremony. More than 200,000 young writers from more than 5000 of India’s top schools competed for the prestigious National Jury and Best-Seller honors in the 2023 edition.
The world’s biggest book writing competition for schoolchildren is the India edition of NYAF, which is sponsored by EducationWorld and presented by BriBooks. Young, aspiring writers have access to BriBooks’ Gen-AI driven writing and publishing platform, which enables them to turn their ideas into published works.
The exceptional accomplishments that were acknowledged and honored served as the event’s high point this year. Prominent figures, including His Excellency Mr. Noar Gilon, the Israeli ambassador to India, and his spouse, Ms. Orly Gilon, graced the event and offered encouragement and support to the budding writers. Their attendance served as a reminder of both the fair’s worldwide significance and the young writers’ capacity to have an impact on a global scale.
At the event, schools from all throughout the nation took part, and several of them won prestigious awards. 21K School was named the Most Innovative School of India, while Modern School Barakhamba Road was acknowledged as India’s No. 1 Literary Leader.
These achievements not only highlighted the excellence of the participating schools but also underscored the importance of fostering a culture of literacy and creativity within educational institutions.

At the fair, extraordinary talent was also on display. Notable winners in both categories included Kshipra Moreker, who was acclaimed as India’s No. 1 Golden Pen Jury Award winner for her book “Icy Comet Takes Girl to Space,” and Keya Hatkar, who was named India’s No. 1 Best-Selling author for her book “I M POSSIBLE!”
The Golden Pen – Jury Award winners were Jahan Vaishnav for “The Cosmic Odyssey of Atticus,” Shreya Sharma for “Pitter Patter and the Tiger,” Diya Ezhava for “The Case of Missing Ruby,” Ishaan Prangya Samantray for “The Three Lessons,” Joanna Bernice for “The 7 Rebels,” Anisha Mathur for “Mysterious 5th Block!!,” Reon Rathi for “The Dream Cricket Final,” & P Prakalya Yazhini for “The Kingdom Of Alabaster.”
H.E. Noar Gilon, the chief guest, offered some motivational remarks and remarked, “This is one of those occasions that I have truly loved.” Children can utilize AI to write their own stories and books for free with the help of BriBooks, an India-Israel joint venture. 200 finalists from around India attended the final event out of the 200,000 books that were written. India is a talented country.
All in all, the National Young Authors’ Fair, held in Delhi, India, was a celebration of storytelling’s power, originality, and inventiveness rather than merely a competition. For the students that took part, it was a life-changing event that gave them the tools, self-assurance, and willpower to follow their passions and leave their mark on the literary world once more!
