The University of Denver and the Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions are partners.

On Tuesday, March 26 in Ghaziabad, the Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions and University of Denver, USA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important step towards strengthening worldwide exchange of best academic practices.

A delegation from the University of Denver (DU) and the Jaipuria Group leadership team attended the Memorandum of Understanding signing event, which was held at the corporate office of the Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions. In six main areas—student and faculty exchanges, cooperative research projects, Collaborative Online International Learning initiatives, knowledge exchange programs, and other academic cooperation in areas of mutual interest—the memorandum formalizes the two educational institutions’ cooperation.

Mary Clark, provost and executive vice chancellor, and Dr. Uttiyo Raychaudhuri, vice provost for internationalization, led the ten-member delegation from the University of Denver, which also included top administrators and deans. Dr. Daviender Narang, director of the Jaipuria Institute of Management; Dr. Rajiv R. Thakur, director general of the Jaipuria School of Business; and Shalini Nambiar, director-principal of the Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad, were the representatives of the Jaipuria Group. Shishir Jaipuria, chairman, was also present.

“This collaboration paves the way for creating a dynamic synergy between the Jaipuria Group and University of Denver,” Shishir Jaipuria said in a statement on the occasion. It advances the goals of NEP 2020, which include worldwide faculty and student interaction, collaborative research, and globalization of education. Additionally, it fortifies the links in education between India and USA.

The MoU signing will be followed by activation of programmes and initiatives specified in the collaboration.
