While children appeared for the class 10 Social Science board exams on Wednesday, nine incidences of misconduct were reported in Karnataka.In the state, students are currently taking the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam. On Wednesday, there were reports of students using their phones to duplicate material and cheat. There have been reports of four malpractice cases in Dharwad, three in Raichur, and one each in Bengaluru South and Kalaburagi.
In a Karnataka Public School in Bengaluru South, an invigilator discovered that a student had copied throughout the exam. In four separate incidences in Dharwad, students were caught using cell phones and trying to copy during exams. The events were reported from the English high school, GV Joshi Rotary, two cases in Anjuman Urdu High School and another in Government High School, Hubballi Taluk.
The occurrences in Kalaburagi and Raichur were reported from Government High School Manvi and Government Higher Primary School, Jeevargi, respectively. Here, students were found to be copying.
It should be remembered that three cases in two distinct incidents were reported on the first exam day during first language. Because they allowed the same, the on-duty invigilators were suspended.
