Fourth Convocation of ICFAI University, Jaipur is being held.

On Sunday, March 17, ICFAI University, Jaipur held its 4th Convocation event at the university’s Jamdoli campus. Padma Shri A. S. Kiran Kumar, the previous chairman of ISRO, was the main guest of honor for the event.

Prominent luminaries Prof. (Dr.) R.P. Kaushik, the ICFAI University chairperson, and Prof. (Dr.) H P Singh VSM, the university president, graced the convocation ceremony together with members of the Academic Council and Board of Management.

Chief guest Shri A S Kiran Kumar, congratulated all the graduating students for having achieved a landmark through excellent academic performance. He enlightened the students stating how science and technology has revolutionised the world and motivated them by emphasising that advancement in science and technology should be used to improve the lives of fellow beings and benefit the society at large. It was heartening to learn how the ISRO has evolved over the last four decades and has emerged as one of the few countries in the world with an end to end capability of building rockets, satellites and payloads. He made a special mention and appreciated the ICFAI Group for promoting and providing quality education in remote areas, especially the North East.

Dr. Kiran Kumar also said, “India has demonstrated its capabilities to carry out significant extra-terrestrial activities of exploring and soft landing on Moon using innovative and cost effective approaches. Its efforts have drawn international attention and appreciation. It is planning to further carry out human space flight activities and build space station and land humans on the moon.”

“India, which has its sights set on reaching the top of the ladder and is currently ranked fifth among the world’s economies, is striving to make the best use of its potential to get there,” he continued. India is being urged to expand on its current space technology capabilities in order to become a major player and gain benefits from the space economy, which is predicted to reach a trillion dollars in the future years. India is currently in the process of changing from a nation with space capabilities to one with the ability to use space technology to offer services and solutions to both itself and other people. This presents a significant chance for the nation’s youth to have the information and abilities necessary to create answers.

The environment we live in is changing all the time, and it’s evident that this is happening at a faster rate as product life cycles and their impact periods are shorter. This is creating a need for a different strategy. It is also evident that many of the strategies used to address contemporary issues have later given rise to ecological and environmental issues. The importance of meeting human needs on Earth and the relevance of the ideas of the longest-surviving civilization in placing a high value on treating nature with respect become clear in the context of sustainable development. In addition to releasing itself from the shackles of centuries-long foreign rule, India is becoming a leader in demonstrating to the rest of the world the knowledge

Five hundred and fifty-two students received Ph.D., MBA, and MCA degrees during the convocation ceremony. Programs offered include BBA, B.Com (Hons.), B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc. (Hons.), B.A.-LLB (Hons.), BBA-LLB (Hons.), and LLB. Gold and silver awards were given to the deserving pupils based on their achievement.
